Built in the mid-18th century, it was originally used as stables for John Busby’s Distilleries in Blackpitts. Since then, it has been used as a meat factory, a bakery and, more recently, a photography studio. Its current incarnation is a marriage of food, culture and education where experimentation, fermentation, workshops and events happen. On Culture Night, you will be shown how to make Sauerkraut in their kitchen.
