This Culture Night, Fóroige Dublin City South opens its doors at Unit 2B, High Street, Christchurch, for an evening celebrating the creativity, confidence and community spirit of young people.

Dublin City South youth work staff present an evening where they welcome parents, neighbours and supporters to celebrate the successful partnership between youth work and the Arts and experience the creativity and energy of youth work in action.

From 18:00–20:30, visitors can explore how youth work and the arts come together through interactive workshops, presentations, film and displays.

Try a traditional Henna (Mehndi) workshop, discover the history behind the art, take part in creative art workshops, and enjoy a film created by Fóroige’s young people, followed by insights from its director.

Throughout the evening, visitors can also view artwork and creative projects made by young people in Fóroige youth spaces.

Fóroige has worked alongside over 50,000 young people every year since 1952, supporting them to shape their own lives and communities.
