Description:

The Instituto Cervantes Dublin, the Spanish cultural and language centre in Ireland, invites children aged 6 to 12 to discover the fascinating world of flamenco, a fundamental artistic expression of Spanish culture recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

By immersing themselves in its rhythms and movements, children not only learn an art form but also develop their personal expression, connect with a rich tradition, and foster creativity and collaboration.

This introductory workshop for Culture Night offers much more than just dance steps; it is a valuable tool for children’s integral development.

With Sandra Palomar, a professional dancer from Andalusia who has a solid career in flamenco. Sandra is a regular teacher at the Instituto Cervantes Dublin who holds a degree in Sports Science and is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor.
