This year, Féile na Sollán will feature an evening of poetry and music in Cafe Grange Sallins from 7-9pm followed by a Traditional Music Session in The Railway inn from 9-11pm.
Aifric Mac Aodha was born in 1979. Her first collection, Gabháil Syrinx, was published in 2010. She has taught in St Petersburg, New York and Canada and has lectured in old and modern Irish at UCD. She lives in Dublin where she now works for the Irish-language publisher, An Gúm. She was the winner of the Oireachtas Prize for Poetry (2017).
This is a bilingual event. Music is by local traditional group Sult.
