‘Feathered Friends’ exhibition features 17 paintings depicting Irish bird species and the collection is part of a wider Bird Conservation Project presenting the species that are of conservation concern and appear on the red list. Many bird populations in Ireland are in decline with 54 Irish species on the Red list with a further decline of 6 waders joining the Red list due to habitat loss, environmental and climate factors.
