Culture night will be an evening celebrating Irish culture, language, music and hospitality. This special event will provide newly arrived residents with an opportunity to experience the rich traditions of Connemara through live traditional Irish music performed by local musicians and Irish speakers from the community.
Guests will be invited to enjoy a selection of foods while learning about the importance of music and the Irish language in local culture and daily life. Through informal conversation, storytelling and musical performances, participants will have the chance to engage with native Irish speakers, sample the sounds of the Irish language, and gain a deeper understanding of the rich cultural heritage of the Gaeltacht both historically and currently.
