This Culture Night, visitors are invited to discover a place of history, heritage, and quiet reflection in the heart of Dublin’s historic Georgian Quarter. The Religious Goods Shop and peaceful Oratory will be open until 20:00, welcoming visitors throughout the evening.
Guests can browse a unique selection of religious gifts, books, and devotional items, or simply take a quiet moment in the Oratory—a peaceful haven away from the bustle of the city. Housed within a beautiful Georgian building rich in history and character, the premises offer a warm and welcoming space for all.
Visitors exploring Culture Night, discovering the heritage of the Georgian Quarter, or simply looking for a place of peace and reflection are warmly encouraged to call in during the evening. While there, they can also visit The Moving Crib downstairs, one of Dublin’s best-loved attractions.
Easily accessible on foot and by public transport, this welcoming Culture Night event offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and experience a unique part of Dublin’s heritage.

The Religious Goods Shop and Oratory are wheelchair accessible.
Please note that the Moving Crib Museum is located in the basement of the historic Georgian building and is accessible by stairs only. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the building, there is no lift or wheelchair access to the Moving Crib Museum.
Visitors with young children are welcome to leave prams and buggies in a designated area before visiting the Moving Crib Museum, as they cannot be taken downstairs.
The Moving Crib Museum features moving mechanical figures and may include background music and other sounds. Visitors who are sensitive to movement, sound, or moving visual displays may wish to take this into consideration when planning their visit.
