Exhibition: The Slovenian Constitution in a Comic Strip

Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia
17:00 - 21:30
No Booking Required
All Ages

Description:

The Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia is delighted to present this exhibition of a selection of articles from the comic strip presenting the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia.

The illustrator Zoran Smiljanić brought the content of the Constitution closer to different readers with comic book language and designed it in an interesting, educational, and entertaining way, in which the main characters, Maja and Miha, walk among the most important articles of the Constitution and thus learn about democracy and active citizenship. The strip, drawn by Mr. Smiljanić, uses the language of comic strips to make complicated legal ideas sound interesting, educational, and fun for all generations.

This content is presented as a kind of guide offering readers playful insights into the functioning of a democratic state and the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
