Emma O’Brien’s exhibition explores landscapes of care through photography, ecological awareness and feminist perspectives, considering the relationships that connect human and non-human worlds. Visitors can also take part in a free artist-led workshop,

Making with the Bog: Cyanotype, Lumen Printing and Botanical Toning Workshop, running from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, exploring alternative photographic processes using plants, natural materials and light. Suitable for adults and children aged 10+ accompanied by an adult.

Westmeath Arts Office is delighted to announce Imagining Common Grounds, a special Culture Night 2026 event that marks the official launch of both this year’s Culture Night programme and Westmeath’s contribution to Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
