Éigse Terenure Culture Night Performances

Unique to Ireland, an Éigse was traditionally a gathering of poets, sages, storytellers and musicians and it is in this tradition that Éigse Terenure have put together a very special event as part of Culture Night Dublin, showcasing a rich and diverse range of highly talented performers. The amazing lineup will feature wonderful artists in the fields of jazz, folk, trad, classical, opera, poetry, storytelling, sean-nós dancing, and art, thus embodying the spirit of an Éigse, so as to create a truly memorable evening of creative expression and entertainment.

Éigse Terenure is a Terenure based Arts group, established during Covid in 2021. Currently it runs an on-line poetry appreciation and poetry writing group. It has to date printed 3 books of poetry and has also initiated and facilitated a poetry-writing competition involving TY students in the 3 second level schools in Terenure.
