Molten Verses with Louise O’Brien

Join artist, Louise O’Brien for part talk/part exploration into her art practice with objects and artefacts. Louise investigates the ‘found object’ and the many meanings objects have – domestic, utilitarian, symbolic & transformative. Beginning with the ‘chair’ we will gain new perspectives on objects that we see and use in everyday life.

You will find Louise in her pop up studio in Edenderry Library wearing her creators’ coat. You are welcome to remove items from her coat to asset you in making some objects.

Louise also invites you to bring with you a metal spoon to donate to her artwork. Your spoon will be transformed at a later stage into a new artwork.
