St John Hall will host “Earth and Sky”, a ceramics and painting exhibition by Luca L. Aschieri and Emily McCulla. The exhibition explores the importance of these two elements in Irish nature, with earth represented through stoneware pieces and sky through paintings of birds, in both realistic and symbolic forms.

Aschieri will give a live demonstration of ceramic modelling techniques. Complementing McCulla’s work, there will be a talk on Irish birds and their conservation. The evening will conclude with a traditional music session organised by Áine McGrath and Francis Droney, who regularly host a weekly session in Ballyvaughan.
