Join Blessington Welcomes for a vibrant evening of music, creativity and connection as we celebrate Culture Night 2026. This free, family-friendly event is open to everyone, regardless of age, background or experience.

Enjoy live traditional Irish music from local musicians, experience the energy and joy of an interactive African drumming workshop led by Neil Dowling of Drum Nature, and join Patricia Ní Bhroin for a lively set dancing session. Whether you’re an experienced dancer, a first-time drummer or simply curious to try something new, everyone is invited to take part.

A separate art room will be available throughout the evening for children and anyone who would prefer a quieter creative activity. Not keen on drumming or dancing? Pull up a chair, enjoy the live music, chat with friends old and new, and soak up the warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The evening concludes with an informal celebration bringing together musicians, drummers, dancers and participants in a joyful finale.
