Get ready to unleash your creativity at Drawing on the Blues, a wonderful opportunity for social art making in a friendly environment.

Drawing on the Blues is a social sketching and live music event in the Scout Hall community space in New Ross. Guided by artist Ben Dolan, participants will create a portrait of the musicians from a mobile phone photograph using pencil and charcoal. Blues and trad band ‘Skin the Deer’ will provide musical entertainment and act as models for the group to draw.

This relaxed, social workshop offers the opportunity to meet others, develop sketching skills, and enjoy a unique combination of hands-on art-making and live music.

Booking is essential.

The event is suitable for adults and young people 15+ years.
