Dublin - Dublin City / South Georgian Quarter

DIAS – School of Celtic Studies

If there is a constant in any culture, it is that we like to make fun of ourselves and of others, but how did people in medieval Ireland make fun of each other? In two short, interactive workshops (5.30 & 6.30), medieval and early modern Irish satire will be explained and – who knows – you might even go away with a contemporary satire as well!
