You can explore some of the building’s most notable rooms, see the Minister for Justice’s Office, the Minister of State’s Office, the Secretary General’s office and visit the Boardroom, all from the comfort of your own home.

A Georgian house was turned into a Museum of Irish Industry and later a College of Science, before being converted into the headquarters of the OPW and, afterwards, of the Department of Justice. Inside the Mountjoy Prison Museum
Thanks to our colleagues in the Irish Prison Service, we gained exclusive access to the Mountjoy Prison Museum. This unique museum is home to the Auld Triangle and a treasure trove of historical artefacts, including items from prisoners who were imprisoned over the last 170 years.
