D-Light Studios: Housemates’ Takeover

D-Light Studios

Showcasing in-house creative talent featuring multi-disciplinary dance company Flora Fauna Project led by Maria Nilsson Waller (Sweden) and Stace Gill (Ireland). Join us for screenings of their dance films and documentaries; a premiere of “The River” which documents the contemporary dance training with 17 women from Sheriff Street and Ballybough, “Lumen” a duet adapted for film which is an SOS that captures nature time-lapsing in a dream and “Bluebells” a recent dance research project shot in D-Light Studios, also a live performance of Maria’s latest solo work “Praying Positions/Metamorphosis” which looks at the act of prayer in the body as an animal instinct.

Join us until midnight for this plus an eclectic showcase from our studio other housemates including live dance performances and music from the Sei, The Irish Pole Dance Academy, Tara Kearns and more!
