This Culture Night, Outset will once again transform Galway’s iconic Cornstore Mall into the backdrop for a special evening of live music curated by Genuine Irish. The programme will bring together a carefully selected line-up of emerging musicians from Galway and further afield, spanning genres and offering a snapshot of some of the exciting new music being made across Ireland right now.

Across the evening, audiences can expect a series of live performances alongside short artist interviews, offering an opportunity to discover the musicians, stories and creative practices behind the music.

The Space In Between — Luke Reidy

Alongside Culture Night at the Cornstore, audiences are invited to experience a late-night viewing of Luke Reidy’s landmark exhibition, The Space In Between, at Outset Gallery.

Culture Night will also mark the exhibition’s closing celebration, bringing the visual art and live music programmes together across the Cornstore. Explore the music throughout the evening, step into the gallery to experience Reidy’s exhibition after hours, and join us in celebrating the final night of The Space In Between – 7PM-9.30PM

Folús Exhibition

Folús brings together 12 artists and writers, both London-based and Ireland-based, from 17th September to the 19th September 2026 at Satellite Projects & Studios in Galway. Spanning sculpture, painting, moving image, textile, found objects and writing, we wish to consider the lines of presence within absence and absence within presence. In these gaps, invisible pasts remain perceptible through their traces and a potential for fabulation emerges. We consider the possibility that these voids are latent spaces, generative of fictions and mythologies which manifest alternative futures. The exhibition will be open from 6pm – 9pm with readings and film screenings from 7pm – 8pm
