Culture Night In The Oriel Centre (Dundalk Gaol)

The event will be a night of music featuring Traditional Irish Musicians and Ukrainian Musicians. The featured traditional Irish musicians will be legendary Flute players Patsy Hanly and Tommy Guihan and mouth organ player Noel Battle. Patsy and Tommy are steeped in the Roscommon flute playing tradition and are household names among traditional music enthusiasts at home and abroad. Noel Battle is from Mullingar and is the winner of seven All Ireland titles on harmonica. Valerii and Olena Supruniuk are a Ukrainian couple living in Ireland. They will perform a programme of Classical and Modern music. Local branch musicians will join the featured musicians for a session at the end of the night
