Culture Night DRAWDA Urban Art Trail & Music

Droichead Arts Centre

Join us on Culture Night 2022 for two free Mural Tours, hosted by mythologist Anthony Murphy and storyteller Gráinne Rafferty! Advance booking necessary as there is limited availability on each tour. Please dress for appropriate weather and wear comfortable walking shoes! Duration 90 minutes.

The tour will visit six murals beginning at the Morrígan, Patrick Street, on to Boann, at Abbey Lane, continuing down to Meat Market Lane for Étaín, then to Dyer St where you can see Salmon of Knowledge, up to St Laurence St where Dagda awaits and finally to Drogheda Port for Amergin. On the way across town, after Boann, you will also visit Droichead Arts Centre, where Róisín Ward Morrow and Breifni Holohan will treat you to a short showcase of new music in our gallery, composed as part of Róisín’s 2021 Bursary award.
