Celebrate Culture Night 2026 with an evening of live music in the magnificent surroundings of Dublin City Hall. This event brings together some of Ireland’s finest established and emerging musicians for a programme that celebrates the city’s rich musical heritage while showcasing the diversity and creativity of its contemporary music scene.

18:00 – Dublin Youth Choir
Founded in 2017, Dublin Youth Choir is an award-winning organisation that provides high-quality choral music education for young people across Dublin and the surrounding areas. Through its progressive programme of choirs, DYC nurtures musicianship, vocal technique and ensemble skills, inspired by the Kodály approach. Under the artistic direction of Dr Lynsey Callaghan, the choir has earned national and international acclaim, including being named Ireland’s Choir of the Year at the Cork International Choral Festival in 2022 and 2024 and winners of the youth choir category at the European Choir Games in Sweden in 2019.
18:45 – Stellar Choir
Featuring in this year’s City Hall programme is Stellar Choir, a talented four-part mixed-voice choir based in Upper Rathmines. Established in 2018, the ensemble quickly grew into a thriving community choir and now boasts more than 60 members. Known for their engaging performances and wide-ranging repertoire, Stellar Choir performs everything from sacred music and traditional Irish songs to jazz and contemporary favourites. Last year, Stellar travelled to New York to perform in the world-renowned Carnegie Hall and in 2027, they will represent Ireland at the We Are Singing festival in Kraków.
19:30 Belle Harrmonics
Belle Harmonics is an award-winning pop-rock choir based in Synge Street, Dublin. Known for its powerful vocals, original arrangements, and infectious energy, the 35-member group performs fresh takes on songs by a wide range of artists, from Belinda Carlisle and Fleetwood Mac to Chappell Roan and Adele. Formed in 2018, the choir has built a strong reputation for its dynamic live shows, regularly appearing at sold-out venues and festivals across the country.
20:20 The Ramparts
The Ramparts are an all-male Dublin based a cappella group set up in February 2016. They love to sing a wide range of traditional Irish folk songs, classic hits, old school barbershop ballads, contemporary classical and sacred music.
The Ramparts are versatile performers who know how to keep an audience entertained with their big sound and even bigger personalities. Whether on stage, on the street, on the bus, or in the pub, The Ramparts always guarantee their audiences a unique and memorable show.
21:00 Dublin Fire Brigade Pipe Band
The Dublin Fire Brigade Pipe Band was founded in 1985. The membership of the band is drawn from serving and retired members of the brigade. The band represents Dublin Fire Brigade at civic events, national and international parades and commemorations. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience the Dublin Fire Brigade Pipe Band live as they close out this special Culture Night at Dublin City Hall.
Move through the building as music unfolds across the evening, discover established artists alongside emerging talent, community ensembles and cross-cultural collaborations that celebrate the many voices shaping Dublin’s musical identity. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the historic Council Chamber, where they can sit in the Lord Mayor’s chair.
