Description:

Culture Night at Dance Limerick will be a celebratory dance event, an opportunity to gather and share the joy of dance and music together.

The evening will consist of:

6 – 6.45 pm A FREE Contemporary Dance Class in our Dance Limerick Studio
(Over 18 – No previous experience needed – Just come as you are!)

7 – 8.15 pm FREE short dance performances at Dance Limerick Performance Space

8.30- 11 pm In collaboration with Top8 Street Dance Battle, the evening will finish with a series of performances, dance battles, DJ sets and more, celebrating different elements of Hip Hop culture.

Our workshop has limited spaces; please sign up for free to secure your spot.

Book your spot for our performances to make sure you get a seat! Walk ins are welcome, but a seat cannot be guaranteed.

Additional information about accessibility:

For Culture Night 2026, the following access accommodations and inclusive practices will be implemented:
Three disabled emerging dance artists will be invited to perform original work developed through the Inclusive Dance Artists Training (IDAT) project, funded by Limerick City and County Council.
An Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpreter will be present to support both the d/Deaf artist performing and audience members who use ISL.
Two access support staff will be on-site to assist both audiences and participating artists. They will ensure that everyone can engage in a way that suits their needs, providing additional support for artists with disabilities.
The audience will receive advance notification of any loud music or flashing lights.
A relaxed performance set up will be in place during Culture Night.
Dance Limerick is a wheelchair accessible venue with accessible toilets.
