Butler Gallery - Culture Night 2023! This celebratory evening will include activities and entertainment for all the family. With late entry to Butler Gallery you can visit our current exhibition The Art of Sport and enjoy a curatorial tour with our Director, as she leads you through this thematic exhibition exploring how artists have captured the spirit of sport through varied mediums. Visitors are invited to view a short programme of archive sport films curated by the IFI, in our Digital Gallery, and wander around our permanent collection, immersing in the fine selection of art that Butler Gallery has to offer.
An art workshop for children will take place in our learning centre, that will reflect on the current exhibition The Art of Sport.
To end the evening of culture, proceed to the Butler Gallery garden, where music will be performed by folk and blues singer Clara Rose and band.
