Culture Night Slow Sessions With Brendan McCreanor
No matter what instrument you play or what level you are at, this evening session is for you. In this relaxed, friendly and informal setting, a selection of well-known and easy session tunes will be played slowly to allow people new to playing music or returning to it to play together. Experienced players interested in refining their techniques and expanding their repertoire are also welcome to participate. A selection of popular session tunes will be played, including a couple of local ones from Louth and other well-known tunes. Slow session participants will play jigs, reels, slides, polkas, and hornpipes, as well as learn about the tunes’ history and origins.
Slow Sessions will run from 8pm – 9pm. – No booking required
