This year, the Hunt Museum will focus on how individuals and the community can postively impact climate change. The event centerpiece is our history of renewable energy based on the building of Ardnacrusha. Culture Night will mark the opening of 'Night's Candles Burnt Out' An exhibition that shows how we can help fight back against Climate Change. Mini Lectures providing insights into the artwork, its historical context and its relevance to climate change and how instrumental Seán Keating was in documenting the building of Ardnacrusha.There will be a dance performance inspired by the painting 'Night's Candles Burnt Out' Dancers will interpret the themes and emotions depicted in the artwork through their movement, offering a unique and artistic perspective. RTE Lyric FM's Lorcan Murray will present Classic Drive for the second year from The Hunt Museum.The Captains room will showcase displays of interactive technology related to climate change Dr. Yonit Kosovske will present a screening of the Triple Spiral project video. Art and Craft tables will be set up for children to participate in colouring activities and create their own versions of Seán Keating's painting.
