For Culture Night the Creative Hub studios will be hosting a late night opening and it is a perfect opportunity to meet the artists and makers.

The Creative Hub is a working studio, exhibition and a retail space supporting local artists and craft makers. It is positioned in the heart of Wexford town’s cultural spine, connecting Main Street to Mallin Street.  Some of the artists that will be open to the public on the night include;

  • Ciaran Bowen (Visual Artist) Open Studio
  • Oonagh Latchford, (Visual Artist) Open Studio
  • Bernadette Doolin (Visual Artist) Open Studio
  • Lina Varna (Jewelry Designer) Open Studio
  • Wexford Arts Hub ( Artist collective) ‘Retro-static’, two and three-dimensional work, video film, photography, performance art and music, from 6pm. The public will be admitted, three pods at a time (maximum three per pod) and shown to their seating area. The event comprises all the above and lasts approximately 20 minutes.
  • The Makers House ( Art, Craft & Design) Open Studio & Meet the Makers events from 5pm – 8pm will include demos by Pauline Quigley of PQ Glass Design, Wild Herb Elixirs, The Potter’s Yard Patricia Howard, John Holden Photography, Island Willow, Kristen Gray Photographer, Annette Byrne of Julsuluv Jewelry, and Mary Wallace.

These events will be run strictly in accordance with government guidelines on Covid-19. If you are feeling unwell or have a temperature, we ask you not to attend the event.

Patrons are asked to observe government guidelines on social distancing, practice good hand hygiene and you may be asked to wait before entering individual studios.
