5pm – 6pm The Grand Play-aid on the Grand Parade! Join us outside The City Library on Grand Parade for a family play date! Games and art; fun for the young and the young at heart.

6pm Words on Windows: Cork City Libraries visually brings poetry and prose from the book CorkWords to the streets of the city. Join the trail and take a photo of each piece and have a book on your phone to delve into.

6pm – 8pm Kampus Turns 40 Join us for a celebration of Kaught at the Kampus, an album recorded live in Cork in 1980. The gig, recorded live in the Arcadia, featured the city’s most cutting edge punk/new wave bands; Nun Attax, Microdisney, Mean Features and Urban Blitz. Presented by the Cork Zine Archive & Conjun Box, in partnership with Cork City Library, this event will feature the images and music of the Cork’s punk era.

Also streamed live at 8.15pm – 8.45pm: Introduction to Uileann Pipes with Eoin O’Riabhaigh and Diarmuid Grainger. Event cancelled.
