Description:

Four-Faced Theatre Company was established in 2021 by Alison McCormack with the aim of producing new and fresh theatre for national audiences. With an emphasis on working with young and emerging artists.

The company is presenting Glue, written and performed by Niamh Fennessy, as part of the CATALYST programme at Cork Arts Theatre in September. This new programme, supporting the work of early career artists in Cork city, is run in association with The Everyman and Cork City Council Arts Office.

Glue is a piece for one female performer and a willing audience, all happening in a narrow window of time as she waits for a fateful phone call. The audience becomes complicit in covering up the petty crimes committed by herself and her oh so important beau, Kev, as she fills them in on the story of how she has become the unwilling mule for his adrenaline addiction and kleptomania.

For Culture Night, Four Faced theatre invite you to Cork Arts Theatre to watch an excerpt of Glue, followed by a Q&A with the creative team behind the work.
