The Pop Up Women’s Museum, 100 years of women in politics and public life, is a Department of Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sports and the Gaeltacht initiative under the Irish Government’s Decade of Centenaries programme.
The pop-up provides an insight into the lives of hundreds of women who helped shape Ireland from the 1920s to the present day. Their personal stories are told with inter-actives as well as objects, clothing, manuscripts and furniture gathered from private and public collections.
For Culture Night an audio-visual display of some of the content of this exhibition will be shown on the facade of the historic Dublin Castle Coach House.
