Casa Mexico are a cultural centre dedicated to promoting Mexican Art and Culture. Audiences are invited to view an art exhibition ‘The Colours of Mexico Tradition and Culture’ with over 40 paintings and sculptures on show in their gallery to commemorate the Independence of Mexico. The participating artists are Mirelle Ortega Rosas, Alejandro Alvarez, Jorge Robles, Evelyn Cohen, Alejandro Dorantes, Gaby Torres, Enrique Dominguez, Linda Campos, Cecilia Burgos, Pilar Rueda, Marilu Dominguez, Yamara Ham, Cecilia Burgos, Azul Carrillo, Celeste Illazki, Soria Sculptor, Rocio Hodman.
Mexican food, hot and cold drinks will also be available in their dedicated store, along with handbags, embroidered clothing, handmade jewellery, handicrafts and much more. Everything sold is handmade by Mexican artists, artisans and indigenous.
Architect Doris Calderon, owner of the Art-promoter firm, originally from Mexico City, has lived in Ireland for more than 14 years based in Dublin Ireland for more than 8 years. Doris is dedicated to promoting Mexican Culture mainly with art exhibitions in private and public spaces, festivals, museums and at the Embassy of Mexico in Ireland.
