The heritage of the beautiful town of Cobh from the 19th and early 20th century is brought to life by Cobh Animation Team through their costumes, stories and music. They breathe life into their rich history and heritage and are passionate about their town, county, country and style. The team, all volunteers, dress in period costume as part of a living history initiative and promotion of Cobh and Cork, which they have presented in Schools, Active Age Groups and for Heritage Week. Each team member makes their own unique costumes in the style of the period which date from 1840 to 1940.
This particular presentation will showcase Victoriana, Fota, Titanic, Lusitania, 1916 and more through costumes, stories and song.
