Walk through Clonmel town this Culture Night and hear the amazing, harrowing and unbelievable stories of our local historical characters through song. From the infamous Flogger Fitzgerald under the arches at Main Guard to star-crossed lovers at Blue Anchor lane whose tragic and unexplained deaths in 1826 was one of the great mysteries of its time. Eamon O’Malley brings four stories to life in a newly-composed musical score, performed in the locations where these people lived and worked. Brought to you by Clonmel Junction Arts Festival on Culture Night, the songs were commissioned as part of the In The Open Faoin Spéir programme, supported by the Arts Council of Ireland and Tipperary County Council
