Brand Blarney invites you to ‘Facets of a Fen’.
Biodiversity, Music & Art along a stretch of the lovely 100-acre wetland fen also known as the Blarney Duck Walk.
17:30- 19:30 Connect with nature as you walk along the fen - home to over 80 species of birdlife, Sikka deer, and an array of flora & fauna - and discover the work of local photographers & artists beautifully displayed along the pathway.
Relax in the picnic area and treat yourself to tea/coffee, serenaded by local musicians Anna Mitchell & the Blarney Choir.
Music from 19:10 - 19:30.
Then
Wander up to the children’s playground,
OR
Take a beautifully illustrated heritage map available in the Fen & stroll around Blarney village square to find out what went on behind those doors in times gone by.
NOTE: Also suitable for prams/wheelchairs/children- The fen pathways on either side take approx. 15 minutes stroll each way from the central car park.
