Mohill Station House which was an important stop on the old Cavan and Leitrim Narrow Gauge Railway which sadly closed its doors in 1959. The Station House has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and is fast becoming a focal point of the cultural life of the local community.
This year Culture night will celebrate the rich musical and storytelling traditons of this area led by traditional singer and composer Fionnuala Maxwell, the award winning McNamara Family, and friends.
An exhibition and talk on Mohill’s best loved traditional singer/songwriters will take place from 6pm.
Everyone welcome.
