A film installation for Culture Night outside The Main Guard, Clonmel, curated from the content of the exhibition 100 Years of Women in Politics and Public Life.
The exhibition is a decade by decade journey through the past 100 years, showcasing well-known and not so well-known women who have shaped Ireland.
Based on an archive amassed from private and public collections, the 100 Years of the Women in Politics and Public Life exhibition is now on show in The Main Guard, Clonmel. This exhibition commemorates the introduction of voting rights for women and their right to stand in parliamentary elections and centenary of the election of the first woman TD and MP Constance de Markievicz.

This film was created as part of the Mná100 part of the Decade of Centenaries programme and the exhibition was curated by Dr Sinéad McCoole on behalf of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media.
