Inspired by Kate Bush’s iconic Wuthering Heights, this large-scale participatory performance invites the public to become part of a haunting sea of dancers dressed in red. Throughout the evening, participants will be guided through a simplified version of the famous choreography, with instructions delivered in both Gaeilge and English, creating a playful and accessible introduction to movement and language.

Drawing inspiration from Kate Bush’s Irish roots and her connection to Belfast, the event blends music, performance, community participation and spectacle in a uniquely Belfast way. Elements inspired by Running Up That Hill will also feature, creating moments of gathering, movement and collective energy throughout the experience.

No dance experience is required and audiences are welcome to join at any point. Whether you come to dance, watch or simply soak up the atmosphere, Cathy’s Call offers a joyful, surreal and unforgettable Culture Night experience.
