Presented by the Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter in association with the County Donegal Heritage Office and Conservation Office, Donegal County Council.
The Church Lane is a street of immense social and historical importance to the town of Letterkenny. Named after the building of Conal Parish Church in 1636, people have been living on the Lane ever since then.
This quaint little street has produced innovative and resourceful individuals along with some great characters and we want you to hear their stories on this tour of the area with Cathedral Quarter Secretary Donnan Harvey.
Conservation architect Duncan McLaren will also highlight aspects of the built heritage of Church Lane and the on-going conservation works as part of the Heritage Council’s Historic Towns Initiative.
