Carmichael Open House (part of We Act + Culture Night)
16:00 - 20:00
Booking required
All Ages

Description:

Carmichael House is a historic, listed building in Smithfield built in 1864. It was originally a school of medicine, then became part of the North Dublin Union Poorhouse for a time before becoming the Doctors’ Residence for the nearby Richmond Hospital. Since 1990, Carmichael House has been home to a group of local and national nonprofits which came together to share space, facilities and ideas to strengthen their nonprofits and increase their impact. There are now more than 40 nonprofits based in Carmichael. If you’d like to peek inside to see the historic architecture, take a walk in our garden, chat to some of the nonprofits or just grab a cup of tea, you’re welcome to join us at Carmichael’s Open House on Culture Night.

Free tours will take place at 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

We Act is a campaign to celebrate the impact of Ireland's charities and community groups. It elevates the positive stories and acknowledge the remarkable, everyday efforts of thousands of people around the country.
