Maeve is a heartfelt 15-minute community film created by the Carlow Improv Workshop Class, directed by Jimmy Smallhorne (Love/Hate; Cardboard Gangsters; The Miracle Club) and filmed entirely on location across County Carlow.

Through twelve interconnected stories, we gradually discover the life of one woman, Maeve, without ever actually seeing her. As each character shares a personal story, a portrait emerges of the quiet impact one person’s opinion can have on the lives of others.

Featuring a cast of local performers, many appearing on screen for the first time, Maeve celebrates community, compassion and the power of storytelling. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the cast and director.
