Traditional Irish music and dance will be the order of the evening at Castledermot’s Teach Diarmada with Cairde Ceol agus Damhsa! This group of local musicians, which started out in the village’s community tea room in 2016, ranges in age from 15 upwards and plays instruments such as piano accordion, violins, banjo, concertina, flutes and whistles. There will also be traditional Irish dancers throughout the evening keeping it lively and bringing smiles and laughter to everyone. The name Cairde Ceol agus Damhsa epitomises what they are all about!
