Bretzel Bakery

The Bretzel Bakery: where continental bread traditions meet.

Baking bread for Dubliners since 1870, The Bretzel Bakery is part of the local heritage. Formerly the local bakery of the Jewish community, its influences are multi-cultural. Come and hear about the development of sourdough culture from earliest times to the present day and the health benefits of long-fermentation. Smell the gorgeous aroma of freshly baked bread, and take away a sample of starter culture to bake your own bread at home.
