Bon Voyage! Travels from the Archive

Join the Library & Archives team for a Culture Night display of material taking you around the world, exploring Artists and their travels. Journeys abroad have been a source of inspiration for many artists throughout history, from the Grand Tour to artist colonies in France. A variety of unique objects from our collection will be on display, including Mary Swanzy’s passports, rare Italian travel books and Frederic William Burton’s travel diaries.
Drop in anytime between 6pm – 8.30pm to the Library Reading Room, Room 35, located on Level 3 of the Milltown Wing. The library and archive team will be on hand to show you the collection and answer your questions.
