For Culture Night and as part of the Carlow County Council Commemorations programme join us for the launch of Bittersweet, Marc–Ivan O’Gorman’s impressionistic radio documentary on the rise and fall of Carlow Sugar Factory. Former employees, beet growers, and the wider community are invited to gather, share memories, and hear excerpts from a programme that evokes the factory’s story through voice, music, and atmosphere.
