Beyond The Lake, a new book of words and images will be launched on Culture Night with readings by members of the Oughterard Writers Group. Hosted by Pete Mullineaux.

Join Oughterard Writers Group to celebrate the launch of their new collection of poetry and images. Beyond the Lake is an anthology of words and images that express multiple reflections, perceptions and inspirations that have resulted from encounters with our wonderful Lough Corrib. There is celebration and gratitude for what the lake and its surroundings offer and teach us, as well as concern for its wellbeing in facing challenges such as pollution and the impact of global warming. The book focuses on the importance of the lake for humans and non-humans, holding an ear to its past, present and future.
This event will be hosted by Pete Mullineaux who will launch the book and introduce the readers.
