Baroque around the Clock

"Music is a gift of the Holy Spirit; it dispels the devil and makes the people joyful." This is how Martin Luther describes the meaning of music for faith and soul. He has thereby laid one of the foundations for European musical culture. The world-famous Baroque music tradition of Johann Sebastian Bach, but also of Gerhard, Walter, Schütz, Telemann and Handel, to name just a few, will be brought to life on this evening in the calm setting of this church, away from the main hustle and bustle.
