‘Away With The Fairy – i bPreabadh na Súl – in the blink of an eye’ is a creative project involving children from Scoil Naomh Brid National School, Knockananna.

This performance event creates a ‘magical gloaming’ moment at Knockananna village cross roads for Culture Night Friday 18 September

The work has been created with the children in school in Irish and English using shadow play, giant figures, music and spoken word.

The project digs deep into local memory and myth of place that the si/fairy continue to play in the cultural and social landscape of Ireland.
