Description:

Kildare based forager Aisling Moore, currently in her third year of running foraging workshops, will guide attendees in a simple, practical way of identifying local herbs, to understand their benefits, and learn how to use them in everyday life.
The walk takes place along the historic Grand Canal towpath and hedgerows in Sallins.
During this nature activity we will use all of our senses. Aisling will show participants how to incorporate wild plants into recipes, and will share teas, fresh salads, and pestos on sourdough bread. It will be a relaxed experience that brings people closer to the natural world around them.
A short meditation and some gentle singing will help us slow down, become present, and deepen our connection with the spirit of the plants. Family friendly event.
