A mysterious immersive walkthrough 3D sound installation in the forest
Quote : “The Garden of Unearthly Delights featured amongst other fabulous sounds a flight of surreal butterflies seemed the pass through your chest!” Richard Good – Eden Project
The Garden of Unearthly Delights is an immersive 3D sound installation around the pool in the heart of Cloghereen Nature trail. It features an extraordinary walk-through immersive 3D soundscape that uses many unique cutting edge audio techniques to turn the forest into a subtly surrealistic sonic wonderland. The event is being bought to Killarney national park for the weekend from 1 pm – 9 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 17th, 18th and 19th September. This exhibition is by Sound Artist Augustine Leudar whose work has been exhibited internationally at parks, gardens, and festivals across the world.
Quote: “…a most surreal, otherworldly experience……As we walked back down the lane after this ethereal experience, here was a feeling that we had witnessed something fleeting and beautiful. Tonight at the Giant’s Ring you won’t find a new age sound installation. This is the beauty and uniqueness of projects such as this.”
