For Culture Night 2026, Siamsa Tire will activate the venue as a vibrant, accessible and inclusive cultural hub, presenting a diverse programme of performances, workshops and participatory activities that celebrate creativity, community and cultural expression. designed to engage audiences of all ages and backgrounds, the programme will provide free opportunities to experience, explore and participate in a wide range of artistic disciplines including circus, music, theatre, dance,
literature, visual arts and craft. Circus acts will add a playful high energy element that will animate the building and create a sense of excitement throughout the evening. The Literary Lounge Unplugged Open Mic will provide an inclusive platform for writers, poets, actors and emerging talent to share original work and allow participation from attendees.

The Indian Association will present a showcase of traditional dance celebrating cultural diversity and promote intercultural understanding within local community. Next Stage Theatre Kerry in collaboration with MTU choir will present a youth led ensemble performance, creating opportunities for young people to develop and showcase their artistic talents. NEWKD will facilitate knitting, crochet and craft workshops led by professional artists, encouraging active participation from attendees. a family friendly puppet theatre performance will introduce younger audiences to live theatre, while Irish dance workshops will provide an accessible and enjoyable introduction to Irelands rich dance heritage.

By combining high quality artistic programming with meaningful opportunities for participation, Arts Alive will foster community connection, support cultural inclusion and encourage audiences to experience the arts in new and accessible ways. The programme reflects the core aims of Culture Night by removing barriers to participation, showcasing local talent and creating shared cultural experiences that bring people together through the arts.
