Description:
Three artists and friends have gotten together to host an Open Studio and Art Trail for Culture Night.
Living along the Cavan/Monaghan border, landscape artist Kate Beagan, paper artist Miriam Fitzgerald Juskova and artist and poet Roisin Duffy put their heads together to offer a different experience for Culture Night. All 3 will have their studios open to the public from 4 – 9 pm on Friday 22nd September, all visitors welcome. Each artist will have a form available, which if signed by all 3 during those times, entitles the holder to 10% discount on any artwork by any one of the artists.
Kate Beagan lives between Donaghmoyne and Carrickmacross. A well-established landscape artist on the national and international stage, Kate exhibits regularly in the prestigious RHA and RUA exhibitions, and the Society Of Women Artists, London to name just a few.
Miriam Fitzgerald Juskova is a 3 dimensional paper artist, who lives between Kingscourt and Shercock, Co. Cavan. She is represented by Laura Rathe Fine Art in Texas, and Woolff Gallery in London as well as several Irish galleries.
Roisin Duffy is originally from Co. Cavan but now lives near Corduff/Shantonagh in Co. Monaghan. She writes a poem to accompany each of her paintings, and has published 3 volumes of her collected works. She exhibits her work every year at Art Source, Ireland’s biggest Art Fair, and her work has also been shown at the Edinburgh Art Fair for the last few years.
This is a unique opportunity to see these artists on their home turf. To visit their studios, to see where the magic happens, and to pick up a special piece of art with a discount if you can complete the Art Trail.
